Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world.

Mount Everest is the highest peak. This peak is located in the Mahalangur Himalaya Mountains of the Himalayas. It is located on the border of Nepal and Tibet. The height of this mountain lion is 88486 meters above sea level. Mount Everest is called Chamlankuma or Goddess of the Earth in the local Tibetan language.

In Nepal, it is the international border of China and Nepal, known as Sagar Matha.

Everest was first discovered by Sir George Everage in 1841. He named it Peak 15. In 1851, a young mathematician named Radhanath Shikdar, while working in Darjeeling, identified it as the highest peak in the world.

British mountaineers were the first to propose naming it after him, but George himself opposed naming the peak after him.

Attempts to climb Everest As foreigners are not allowed in Nepal, they attempted to climb from the Tibetan side In 1921, the British managed to fly up to a height of 7000 meters from the Tibetan side.

In 1922, they reached a height of 8320 meters but seven porters died in an avalanche in 1923 George Marie Ondrew Irvine attempted to climb the summit but failed to return.

The results of the expedition are controversial. Many believe that they may have had a chance to successfully climb the summit. But this has never been proven, and on May 29, 1953, Hillary and Tenzing conquered the summit from the southeast ridge for the first time from the Nepalese side.
